Refer to the Scheduled scans section.Your Panda product lets
you scan your entire computer or just the items that you select.
In the main window of the program, click the Scan widget to go to the scan window.
You can choose one of the following options:
Critical areas:
If you select this option, the program will scan the computer folders more likely to contain malware in order to detect and remove potential threats as soon as possible.
Full scan
This option carries out an in-depth scan of all items on your PC: all disk drives, memory, etc. The duration of the scan will depend on the amount of data stored on your computer, as well as the computer characteristics.
Custom scan:
This is the best option if you only want to scan a specific file, folder, etc. It lets you scan the selected item only rather than the entire computer. After you select this option, indicate which folders or files you want to scan and click Start.
You can also launch scans from Windows® Explorer. To do this:
Right-click the file or folder to scan.
From the menu that appears, select the option to scan the item with your Panda product.
In addition to the usual scans, you can now perform scheduled scans and configure them based on the following parameters: frequency, items to scan and exclusions.

Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet before running a scan to ensure maximum detection levels.
Apart from providing on-demand and scheduled scans, your Panda product protects you permanently by scanning all the files that you open or run at any time, neutralizing any potential threats.
