Samsung fans are getting excited as the Korean tech conglomerate plans to reveal Galaxy Note 10 in less than seven weeks. CNET reported that the new large-sized phone from Samsung would debut on August 7th in the United States. According to the technology media outlet, the successor of Note 9 will be launched at this year’s Unpacked event that will be taking place in the Barclays Center in New York.

Expectations are high – last year, the South Korean technology conglomerate called Note 9 “the world’s most advanced smartphone” and fans are excited to see what new features will be included in the latest Galaxy Note 10. The new smartphone is expected to have an improved camera, higher storage capacity and RAM, making it powerful enough to compete against the specs of some of the latest laptops on the market.

According to The Inquirer, the latest version of the Galaxy Note series will come in three versions; the Note 10 Lite, Note 10 and Note 10 Pro. Note 10 and the Note 10 Pro are expected to be capable of taking advantage of the benefits offered by the 5G network. The British media outlet believes the new phone will come with quad cameras, substantial 6.7in screen, and support for 45W charging. The new Galaxy Note smartphone will most likely not include the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Bixby button.

The price of the new Galaxy Note 10 devices has not been confirmed yet either, but it is expected to be between $1,100 and $1,200. Even the entry-level version of the product will most likely be above the $1,000 mark at its launch date. While Samsung might start accepting pre-orders after the launch date on August 7th, the product will most likely begin retailing in late summer. Samsung representatives are remaining cautious and have not yet released an official statement confirming or denying the rumors.

How likely is to see Galaxy Note 10 hit the shelves before Galaxy Fold?

As you might remember, Samsung delayed the launch of its brand new foldable smartphone due to issues experienced by many influencers and media representatives. After a relatively successful launch of the Galaxy S10, Samsung went through a nightmare with the pre-launch of Galaxy Fold and had to postpone the start that was planned for the spring. Some of the problems seen in the Galaxy Fold were bubbling under the screen and display flickering. However, according to CNET citing the Korea Herald, Samsung exec Kim Seong-cheol, vice president for Samsung Display, said during a speech that most of the issues initially seen in the Galaxy Fold had been sorted out and the product is “ready to hit the market.”

Samsung is not making your life easier should you be thinking about what plus-sized smartphone phone to buy next – no official release dates have been announced yet. It is currently unknown if Galaxy Fold will become available before Galaxy Note 10.
