Panda Security –The Cloud Security Company– has announced the launch of its new SCM appliance: Panda GateDefender Performa 4.0, offering cloud-based protection. This perimeter appliance offers hybrid cloud protection for corporate environments against Internet-borne malware and spam, blocking non-productive and potentially dangerous activity.

The new security appliance delivers anti-malware, anti-spam, Web filtering, content filtering and the capacity to selectively block IM/P2P/VoIP/Spotify communications that can critically impact bandwidth consumption. Panda GateDefender Performa 4.0 therefore increases employee productivity and enhances user experience by filtering out potentially malicious content, without interfering with legitimate email or Web traffic.

The new version is easily scalable to adapt to the needs of expanding businesses.
